His Highness saidinhis speech at theopening of the forum:"I am delightedthata forumfor small andmedium-sized enterprises, whichraisesimportant filesrelated to the developmentof performancein these facilities, which isa tributary ofthe national economyopened.
He added:"our wise leadershiphasplacedthe issue ofthe development ofour national economycapacities ofallthe attentionandcare,the SMEsectorreceivedwith particular interest,and became thesupportand developmenta top priority,formthese installationslargerbase andthe broaderunderlyingdomestic economy,the quality and quantityandsize,herethe importance ofthe aim of thethis forum, whichholds the"expansion and growthoptions,"an expression ofambitionis headingdirectlyandstronglytowardmaximizing thestatusand location ofthese facilitiesinour national economy,andcancontribute toitthrough theexpansion andfurther growth,thismeans moreprojects,employmentandresettlement,furtherdevelopmentof the nationalrates.
His Highness said: It wasthe EastChamber draw theattention tothe role ofsmall enterprisesand was manifestedclearlyin the establishment ofa special centerfordevelopmentand development,to enhance theperformance,and a desire toattract morecapitalto this sector,and to providejobsforour children,young men and womenin this area,andto enabletheir ownersespecially youngentrepreneurscontribute totheirservice, in addition tothe launch ofthe bestprivateSMEAward,to encourageall of themto compete inserving the nationin general,andof the Eastcommunityin particular.

For his part,President of theBoard of Directors ofthe EastChamberAbdulrahman binSalehAlotaishansaidthat theForum was heldcomescontinuitywithone ofthe most important economicsectors of our, if notthe most important ofall, thesmall and medium enterprisessector, which has becomean importantpillar ofour national economy,thepillar ofgrowth,ashas become agatewayto awide rangeof humanresourcesenableit to performthe desiredrole inshaping the future ofour country'seconomic,especiallyour youngambition,which representsthe largest proportion ofownersandowners of smalland medium enterprises.
Alotaishan stressed on theimportance ofthe role of enterprises, saying: We haveincreasedthe importance ofthe role played bysmall andmedium-sized enterprisesglobally,their impact on thegrowth ofthe internationaleconomy grew, in thekingdomseemsthat truthis most evident,wheresmall and medium enterprisesmake up more than95%of the totaloperatingfacilitiesKingdom,andwe seeour governmentwentto support thissector throughseveralinitiatives,most notablythe determination ofthe Public Investment Fundto createan industrialfund worthbillion riyalsdedicated tosupporting small andmedium-sized enterprisesoperating in theindustrialareas ofthe owners.
Alotaishannoted that theEastChamberrealized the importance ofsmall andmedium-sized enterprises,establishedsince1420a center forthe development of smalland medium enterprises,based onserviceandsupportperformanceof financial, legal and technicalconsultancy,asfixedand regularpatrolprogramsorganizedundermultiple addresses,for the training ofsmall investorsand smallbusiness ownersmedium,ofyoung men and women, in collaboration withseveral partiesinterested inthis issue,andheldthemand othermemoranda of understandingagreements,aimed atthe development ofhuman resources inthese facilities, in addition tothe development ofthe sameplantperformance,at all levels,andso on, theChamberorganizedDr.AwardGhaziAl-Gosaibito the bestandpromisingfacility,every two yearswherehis Highnessrecentlycrownedwinners,to encourage them tofair competitionand excellenceand innovation inperformance andsupportfor the performance ofour national economy.
